TO UNITED SITE SERVICES IN THE AMOUNT OF $16,565. SOURCE OF FUNDING IS DEPARTMENT

ON THE QUESTION
Mr. Caggiano
We have a portable restroom contract that we put out every year. We put out 26 units throughout the city at
various fields. They are cleaned three times a week. There’s also a little insurance policy with them so if they
are vandalized or replaced, we don’t have to pay for them to be replaced if they have a problem. The other
part of this contract is we are able to allow other non-profits associated with the city to piggy-back on our rates
— the downtown stroll, events like that. Any city related entity can use the contract and they will honor those
rates for those organizations.
Alderman O’Brien
Next up | see the fireworks. Do we get extra toilets because of the large crowd at that time?
Mr. Caggiano
We don’t because we the stadium has enough facilities to handle it. We do bring some in for field events like
when we have the Brewfest. | believe for the first time last year we had a food truck festival in September.
They brought in their own units as well. We do keep one in the winter at Roby Park for the skating rink.
Alderman Klee
You said the insurance includes vandalism? | know at Mine Falls there were firecrackers or something put into
those.
Mr. Caggiano
They tip them over. Occasionally, they are lit on fire.
Alderman Klee
| think that’s what happened at the soccer field.
Mr. Caggiano
They are completely covered. Itis very small money; | don’t know the exact amount but it makes sense to get
insurance.
Alderman Harriott-Gathright
Was there one next to City Hall at one point?
