Dear Mr. Kooken
The Communications Division is requesting to purchase a 30 Kilowatt generator for the
Communications Shelter at the new Redundant Communications Center. This generator will be
utilized in case of a power failure and ensures that power is maintained at the site for
emergency communications. This site does not currently have a backup generator at the site.
The Communications Division and the Radio Committee, recommend awarding the purchase to
Kohler Co., Kohler Power Systems in the amount of $10,919.31. GSA Contract #GS-07F-
019DA. Quote Number 21222038.
