and knowledge is able to help those people who are trying to help others as well.

We need to expand this network because a recovery coach can work with a certain number of people but it is
fairly intensive so you need a lot of people involved to cover the hundreds of people who are really probably in
need of this service.

Bob Mack, | am the Welfare Officer for the City and | am here to speak about the HOPWA contract agreement.
As was noted, this is a 3 year grant cycle, it is basically a pass-through grant that we get through Housing &
Urban Development, HOPWA, Housing Opportunities for Persons with Aids. This about the 4" or 5" cycle
where we have received this grant funding and have been contracting with Harbor Homes to provide tenant
based rental assistance for about 35 households which has at least one member who has identified HIV or
