Mt. Tom Power Generation Station — Turbo-Sorb Initial Compliance (Key
Operator: 2009)
Worked on the team to commission the new Turbo-Sorb System. My role was
the onsite mercury analyst. | collected the stack gas on the carbon tubes then
using the Ohio-Lummex analyzed the tubes to report the mercury concentrations.
New England Power Plants, FTIR —- Ammonia — NE (Key Operator: 2001 -
2011)
Mr. Gill served as the key operator during diagnostic testing on newly installed
SCR units. Specifically, the FTIR was used to determine the ammonia slip on
several new power plants with ammonia injection for NOx control. The sample
probe was traversed across the catalyst to tune the injection grid to minimize the
ammonia slip.
