Mr. Gill served as Project Engineer for the design, building, installation, and
operation of a four station NOx monitoring network for the Dewy Street Tunnel.
He is responsible for the daily operation and monthly reports to the MADOT and
MADEP. The network is an automated system performing daily and weekly
calibrations and then emailing any failures. The system is web based and allows
for the DEP and DOT to view the data real time from their offices.
MADOT Auditing Tunnel Monitoring Network — Boston, MA (Project
Manager/Engineer: 2008 - Present)
Mr. Gill served as Project Engineer for the quarterly auditing of the MADOT
(Central Artery Tunnels) CO and PM monitoring network. He provides an
independent audit of the system by challenging the instruments with multi point
calibration system. In addition he is on call for any problems with the monitoring
system. He has been involved with the upgrading of the particulate monitors and
the data acquisition system.
AGG, Site Oversight — North Adams, MA (Field Supervisor: 2004)
Mr. Gill served as Field Supervisor over a low level radioactive waste cleanup
site. Worked with two other contracted companies to do the actual handling and
processing of the waste.
City of Lowell Civic Stadium, Site Oversight — Lowell, MA (Field Supervisor:
2005)
Mr, Gill served as Field Supervisor of the excavation of lead contaminated soil
and utilized a Niton XRF, XL model screening tool in the field to screen soil for
lead contamination. Field activities included the coordination of on-site
contractors, calibration of the XRF instrument, compliance with project quality
assurance protocols, screening of lead contaminated soil and the determination
of soil disposal.
Red Roof Inn, Site Investigating — Various Sites, IL (Field Investigator:
2005)
Mr. Gill served as field investigator for several locations to investigate any
possible environmental impacts associated with the site. investigation included a
database search for all known environmental impacts (LUST, UST, spills, etc.), a
site walk through, a visual inspection of the database search sites, and
contacting local officials (fire department, town manager, and health department)
for any other information.
DCPO, Limited Removal Action (LRA) — Belchertown, MA (Field
investigator: 2005)
Mr. Gill serves as Field Investigator who cleaned up areas of known oil
contamination. The soil was removed in drums and disposed. Confirmatory
samples were taken from the areas to insure all contamination was removed.
