Remediation Environmental Work
IBM — Essex Junction, VT (Project Manager/Engineer: 2015 - Present)
Mr. Gill worked as a project manager/engineer to help with the transition of
environmental responsibilities and the separation of the current environmental
remediation and monitoring networks from the new owner and keeping them with
IBM. Part of the separation was to upgrade current treatment systems and
secure certain areas of the facility that should have had limited access. Well
inventory and maintenance plan was created and implemented. Many wells were
re-developed and re-sealed to prevent surface water from entering.
IBM — Essex Junction, VT (Project Manager/Engineer: 2015 - Present)
Mr. Gill worked as a project manager/engineer to inspect a RCRA Landfill. He
was responsible for the inspections and overseeing all corrective actions. Some
corrective actions performed have been brush clearing, repair washouts, fence
repairs, and repairing site access.
City of New Bedford School Department — New Bedford, MA (Project
Manager/Engineer: 2011 - Present)
Served as Project Manager/Engineer working on continuing air monitoring for
PCBs in and around the school. Wrote the current Long-Term Monitoring plan to
ensure that the current PCB cap is maintained and not damaged. The plan
consists of groundwater monitoring, sediment sampling, indoor air sampling,
passive sub-slab venting sampling, and visual cap inspections.
Sabra — Richmond, VA (Project Manager/Engineer: 2014)
Served as Project Manager/Engineer updating the Spill Prevention, Control, and
Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan and Storm Water Pollution Prevention (SWPP)
Plan for a major food producing facility. The facility had recently almost doubled
its production capacity and its footprint. The new grading and additional storm
water handling systems required the updating of their plans.
City of Boston (DND) — East Boston, MA (Project Manager/Engineer: 2013)
Served as Project Manager working under the Brownfield program for the former
American Architecture Iron Company site in East Boston. Performed an ASTM
Phase I! on the property to determine the extent of the historical fill and the metal
contamination on the site. Developed a testing program to use the portable XRF
instrument to collect real time data to direct the location of the next soil boring.
Neighborhood of Affordable Housing (NOAH) — East Boston, MA (Project
Manager/Engineer: 2013 - Present)
Acted as Project manager/engineer for a redevelopment project in East Boston
constructing affordable housing complex from an old industrial site. The project
consisted of the demolition of an existing building containing hazardous materials
