Town of Heath, Heath Landfill - Heath, MA (Senior Geologist)

Mr. Stapleton performed sample collection and treatment technology consulting for
a drinking water Point of Entry treatment system for a house downgradient of a solid
waste landfill. Compliance activities also included periodic inspection of the
permanent landfill cap.

Environmental Protection Agency, Parker Landfill - Lyndonville, VT (Senior
Geologist)

Mr. Stapleton supervised the installation of a 100-foot deep landfill gas monitoring
well and sample collection using a GEM5000 Landfill Gas Meter.

Worcester Regional Transit Authority, Remediation and Redevelopment —
Worcester, MA (Field Supervisor)

Mr. Stapleton was the field supervisor for a redevelopment project at an 11 acre
former Manufactured Gas Plant (MGP) site. Approximately 88,500 tons of coal tar-
impacted soil was treated on-site to remove hazardous characteristics prior to
shipment. In addition to supporting the LSP, management responsibilities include
interfacing with the Construction Engineer, Owner’s Project Manager, the Certified
Industrial Hygienist (CIH), and the Remediation Contractor. Characterization of soil
for disposal has included the collection of nearly 200 samples for disposal
parameters and the generation of nearly a dozen soil acceptance packages at
licensed facilities. Eight USTs were removed as well as a partially demolished 80-
foot diameter brick structure containing #6 oil and impacted soil.

Swissport Fueling, Inc., Fuel Pipeline Construction — Logan Airport, East
Boston, MA (Field Supervisor)

Mr. Stapleton supervised the environmental compliance and management of
contaminated soil and groundwater during construction of a new fuel distribution
pipeline at Terminals B and C at Logan Airport. Groundwater that was not
recharged back to the trench or shipped off-site was treated on-site and discharged
under a Remediation General Permit (RGP) approval. Approximately 18,000 tons of
soil required off-site disposal at landfills or asphalt batch facilities. Management
responsibilities included budget and materials tracking, generation of regulatory
compliance reports, direction of field staff and soil management subcontractors as
well as interface with construction firms and Massachusetts Port Authority officials.
