REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

Mr. Stapleton has over 17 years of experience in environmental geology. As a
Geologist and/or Project Manager he is responsible for the proposal, coordination,
execution and reporting obligations of environmental projects under Licensed Site
Professionals (LSPs) or Professional Engineers. His expertise includes remedial
system construction as well as system Operations & Maintenance (O&M). Mr.
Stapleton has worked for public utilities, transportation firms, major petroleum
corporations, real estate corporations, and municipalities.

TransCanada Hydro Northeast, Former Landfill Assessment and Closure —
Wilmington, VT (Senior Geologist)

Mr. Stapleton managed the assessment and closure of former solid waste landfill.
Assessment of groundwater impact was conducting utilizing Membrane Interface
Probe technology to rapidly locate volatile organic compounds in groundwater and
optimize locating permanent monitoring wells. Upon presenting a case that the
impact to groundwater did not pose a risk the regulator allowed the landfill to be
closed with a simple soil and riprap cap.

City of Lowell, Grand Manor Condominiums — Lowell, MA (Project Manager)
Mr. Stapleton is the Project Manager for the Grand Manor Condominiums project.
This project involves the assessment of a parcel of land which was formerly a —
municipal dump that was subsequently covered over with soil in 1955. Two
generations later the parcel was redeveloped for use as a condominium building.
indoor air sampling has been conducted as part of a vapor intrusion assessment
and an assessment of soil and groundwater contamination has been completed.
Mitigation of a possible vapor intrusion pathway from the landfill is a major portion of
the current scope of work. Management duties include proposal generation,
budgeting, generation and submittal of MCP reports and management of TRC
engineers, geologists, and risk assessors.
