Sampling activities will be coordinated a minimum of seven days in advance with the City
designated contact. TRC will provide quality assurance/quality control (GA/QC) of all aspects of
this program from the collection of samples through the final laboratory analytical reports. Any
deviations or inconsistencies in the sampling or results will be explained in a memo format to
the City. if needed TRC will meet with the City to discuss sampling results at no cost to the City.
The contract period will be from July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2021, with the first sampling
event occurring in October 2018. A total of nine sampling events will occur during the contract
period.
B. Scope of Services
TRC will collect landfill gas samples and indoor air samples according to the table presented in
the RFP (included below). The first round of sampling will take place in October 2018 with the
second happening in December 2018. Three rounds of sampling will occur in March, October
and December 2019 and 2020. Only one sampling event (March) will be part of this contract
for 2021. Each sampling event will include nine samples plus a blank sample for a total of ten
samples per sampling event.

TRC has a dedicated QA/QC group focused on providing our clients with defensible data, from
sample collection through the analytical reports. Our QA/QC group is made up of experienced
analytical chemists with more than 30 years of relevant project experience.
Field data sheets and chain of custody forms will be reviewed for completeness and to ensure
that the proper collection techniques were followed. In addition, the laboratory analytical data
package will be reviewed to ensure the proper analytical methods were used and that the data
