Discussion:
The Solid Waste Department solicited bids in May 2018 to engage a firm with substantial experience in
analytical field and laboratory testing relative to air quality and landfill gas. The professional skills and
services required to produce the required results consist of ambient air and landfill gas sampling, analysis
and reporting. These services are performed at the former Shady Lane landfill and New Searles School.
Three bids were received. TRC was chosen based on the qualifications and experience presented in their
response to the City’s RFP.
