ON THE QUESTION

Mayor Donchess

Now Director Bagley is here to answer any questions that anybody may have on this and the subsequent two
items. So why doesn’t she come up. | think you have all met Director Bagley before. Are there are any
questions or comments on this first item?

Alderman Laws

Just looking at this following item here, could you briefly describe what this van does? | didn’t realize that was
part of your, the scope of what you are doing.

Bobbie Bagley, Division Director of Public Health & Human Services

The Community Health Department uses a street outreach and we have a mobile van that we usually use for
that purpose. The RV that we currently have is about 17 years old and it has had significant amount of
damage due to weathering. And although it has about 32,000 miles on it, we took it to get serviced and have
some renovations done on it which is what the NH Charitable Foundation was going to fund; the person who
was going to give us a quote told us it was not worth it to put that effort into doing any of the restoration or
changing some of the interior of the van, we would put more money in than what it was worth. We use the van
for our immunization and some of the outreach that we do, HIV testing, Hepatitis C testing and any other
outreach that we want to do for individuals that are hard to reach in the community.
