Design/Build - Fuel Island Upgrade
CONTRACTOR SCOPE OF WORK
CONTRACTOR shall prepare design plans for the construction of a new Fuel Island Upgrade .The design
plans shall meet the following requirements:

Plans to be prepared by a licensed State of New Hampshire Professional Engineer.
Plans must conform to State Environmental Regulations and be approved by the New
Hampshire Division of Environmental Services (NH-DES).
Plans must be submitted to the City for review and approval.
CONTRACTOR shall provide all necessary materials, labor, and equipment for the installation of four (4)
new fuel dispensers and pans and installation of underground Diesel and Unleaded piping per the
specifications below:
INSTALLATION OF FUEL DISPENSER — AND PANS

Remove existing fuel shack, dispensers, Fuelmaster and Veeder-Root systems, and light poles,
close and dispose of the existing product pipe. Include required soil samples, field screening and
State Closure Report.
Install four (4) dispenser sumps with associated entry boots.
Replace the existing pumps with new Bennett 3000 Series electronic commercial remote
dispensers or equivalent.
Re-install existing Veeder-Root monitoring equipment; replace sensors as needed.
Re-install existing Fuelmaster system.
Electrical to include labor and materials to connect the new equipment to the existing electrical
system. Run new outside conduit and wire as needed.
Concrete will include fueling apron and two housekeeping pads around the transition sumps.
The island forms will be 3’xx’x9” stainless steel.
INSTALLATION OF UNDERGROUND DIESEL AND UNLEADED PIPING
Install piping transition sumps with associated entry boots and pipe supports.
Install as needed 1.5” Omega Flex DoubleTrac double walled flexible piping and fittings or
equivalent installed in 4” ducting.
Install new hoses, breakaways, swivels and automatic nozzles. %” for Unleaded and 1” for
Diesel.
