total asset to the City but | just want to make sure that all letters of the law, we are the City, all letters of the law
are being followed.

Mayor Donchess

| think the answer is yes. This has been checked out with Code and the Fire Marshall.
Alderman O’Brien

Outstanding, thank you.

Alderwoman Kelly

Forgive me if | missed it, but this is all vacant space? It is not going to affect existing tenants in the building?
Ok, thank you.

Mayor Donchess

So if we can have the artists and the brew pub at one end and then the musicians at the other and then we
just get the middle filled in it will be really good. Any other discussion?

ON THE QUESTION

Mayor Donchess

Now | believe our Engineer is here to tell us about this. Thank you.

Mandeep Gill, City Engineer

My name is Mandeep Gill and | work with Steve Dookran in the Engineering Department.

Mayor Donchess

You give can give us more details but in essence this has to do with the repurposed Broad Street Parkway
money which is being used to pave the major arteries, Kinsley, Amherst, Somerset Parkway and Broad.
Because this is federal money there are additional requirements, ADA requirements, regarding sidewalk tip
downs and sidewalk access. This is designed to meet those federal requirements, we’ve awarded the contract
both authorized here and at the Board with Newport Construction for the paving itself and the overall contract.
