within the existing frame or provide a means to securely fasten the new plates to the existing structure. The
plates should be of equal thickness and design at the other plates on siphons.
All materials and workmanship shall have a warranty of a minimum of 1-year.
Upon award of contract to the lowest qualified bidder, the contractor shall submit shop drawings of the covers-
grates (from fabricators) within 10 days of the award. Upon approval by the City the orders shall be placed
immediately. Once received the contractor will have 40 working days to complete the installations. The Main
St-Downstr location shall be worked on first or as soon as materials are received. This work shall continue
during the winter unless extreme winter conditions preclude work.
Contractor shall follow all OSHA requirements including confined space entry for this work.
Contractor shall meet City insurance requirements (general liability $1,000,000 occurrence - $2,000,000
aggregate, motor vehicle - $1,000,000; workers comp according to NH State Statute
$100,000/$500,000/$100,000).
A 5% bid bond shall accompany the bid. The low bid contractor will also provide a performance bond.

Bids for this work are due on Friday, December 9" at 3 PM by mail or hand delivery to the Purchasing
