A: Excavated Material, where called out on the construction drawings, may include
waste.
9. All excess waste to be hauled by contractor directly to the working face?
A: Yes
10. Site work hours? Saturday and Sunday work?
A: Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm; Saturday 8am-1pm.
11. Any retainage to be withheld from invoicing? If so, amount?
A: Refer to Contract Documents, Article 6: Payment Procedures.
12. No union, davis-bacon, or prevailing wages?
A: No
13. Assume all backfill and or required bedding materials located on-site at no additional
cost to contractor?
A: Soil backfill is available on site for use by the Contractor.
14. How far is the borrow pit located from the proposed work areas?
A: The borrow bit is located adjacent to the landfill (less than % mile).
15. Are the existing well boots (where bentonite seals are to be installed) 10x10 PVC
Boots.? ] assume they are a temporary boots that slide over the well and vacuum riser
and are not welded to any liner? Please clarify.
A: The existing boots are premanufactured 10ft x10ft HDPE and are not welded toa
liner.
