plug, one to attach a gauge for reading the air pressure in the sealed
line, and one to introduce air into the sealed line.
Low pressure air shall then be introduced into the sealed line until
the internal air pressure reaches 4.0 psig greater than the average
back pressure (the design groundwater pressure) on the pipe. At
least two minutes shall elapse to allow the pressure to stabilize.
The time required for the internal pressure to decrease from 3.5 to
2.5 psig greater than the average back pressure (groundwater
pressure) on the pipe shall not be less than the time shown for a
given pipe diameter in the following table:

POST-TELEVISION INSPECTION OF COMPLETED SECTIONS
A. The Contractor shall provide to the Owner a color videotape, taken by a
360 degree view camera for close-up view, showing the completed work,
including the condition of the restored pipes and service connections, prior
to requesting payment.

CLEAN-UP
Pipe shall be true to line and grade, with no visual bulges, sags,
protrusions, deflections, offset joints, leaking joints, or other
visible infiltration, or other defects that would impair the intended
use of the completed pipeline. Any repairs necessary as a result of
this inspection shall be performed by the Contractor, at no
additional expense to the Owner. Final acceptance of renewal
work shall not be granted until all defective areas are repaired to
the Owner’s satisfaction.
A. Upon completion of the sliplining operation, the Contractor shall restore
all areas disturbed by these operations.
