Under this pavement type, the Contractor shall be responsible for removing and resetting all
curbing that is disturbed during construction to existing grades at no additional cost to the
Owner. All bituminous concrete berms disturbed during construction operations shall be
replaced at no additional cost to the Owner and shall be set to existing grades and shall
maintain proper drainage.
Under this pavement type, all signs and sign posts disturbed during construction operations
shall be removed and reset. Any signs that have been damaged shall be replaced and set at
existing grades and locations at no additional cost to the owner.
No trees within the project limits shall be under cut or destroyed. The Contractor is
responsible for protecting all trees and their root systems from all adjacent construction
operations. Any trees disturbed or destroyed shall be replaced with no additional
compensation. All surface areas outside the paved roadway surface area that are disturbed
during construction shall be repaired with 4 inches of loam with seed at no additional cost to
the Owner.
