the disposal facility is permitted to and will accept various ACM and or
Asbestos-Contaminated Waste Material specified in this Section.

Respiratory Protection Program: Submit level of respiratory protection intended
for each operation required by the Project (Submittal #12).

System Diagram: When a Type "C" supplied air respiratory system is required by
the Work, submit drawing showing assembly of components into a complete
supplied air respiratory system. Include diagram showing location of compressor,
filter banks, backup air supply tanks, hose line connections 1n Work Area(s),
routing of air lines to Work Area(s) from compressor. Submit complete operating
and maintenance instructions for all components and systems as a whole. Submit
resume and information on training for individual monitoring the operation of
supplied air respiratory systems. Submit training certifications where applicable.
Submittal 1s to be in bound manual form suitable for field use (Submittal #13).

Historic Airborne Fiber Data: Submit airborne asbestos fiber count data from an
independent air monitoring firm to substantiate selection of respiratory protection
proposed. Data submitted shall include at least the following for each procedure
required by the Work:

° Name of Testing Laboratory (Must be a State Certified Lab)
* Date of measurements

° Operation monitored
° Sampling and analytical methods used and evidence of their accuracy.
° Number, duration, and results of samples taken. (Submittal #14)

C. The Contractor shall provide submittal information as specified herein and as necessary

to complete the proper removal and disposal of unidentified ACM including, but not
limited to, work plans, and notifications to all regulatory agencies.

Submit to the Engineer, by facsimile, overnight express mail, or courier delivery within
5 days of receipt of material by the disposal facility, Waste Shipment Records signed by
a representative of the facility.

PROJECT ADMINISTRATION REQUIREMENTS FOR ASBESTOS
ABATEMENT

Minimum administrative and supervisory requirements necessary for coordination of
work on the Project include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:

Administrative and supervisory personnel.

a. General Superintendent: Provide a full-time General Superintendent who
is experienced in administration and supervision of asbestos abatement
