General
The requirements made under this Section are applicable to all work contemplated under
this Contract.
Excess Material & Hazardous Material
The Contractor shall deposit all excess clean and/or asbestos containing material at the
Nashua Landfill. In the event asbestos cement pipe is found, certified City personnel will
transport the asbestos material to the City landfill. Should larger amounts of asbestos be
found, the Contractor shall be responsible for removal of the asbestos material should the
City personnel be unable to handle the volume of the material at an agreed upon cost by
the City in advance of the work. Tipping fees for excess clean material shall be waived.
All deliveries of excess and/ or hazardous material to this location shall be coordinated
with the City. Disposal of other hazardous materials shall be in full accordance with all
applicable Federal, State and local regulations.
Water for Construction Purposes
A. The Contractor shall supply water for construction purposes at no additional cost to the

Pipe Location
Pipe shall be located substantially as indicated on drawings. The Owner reserves the right,
acting through the Engineer, to make such modifications as may be deemed desirable to
avoid interference with existing structures or for other reasons. Sewer and water mains
shall be separated 10 feet horizontally.
