Electric Service

A. The Contractor shall make all necessary applications and arrangements and pay for all
fees and charges for electrical energy for power and light necessary for the proper
completion of this contract during its entire progress. The Contractor shall provide
and pay for all temporary wiring, switches, connections, and meters.

B. There shall be sufficient electric lighting so that all work may be done ina
workmanlike manner where there is not sufficient daylight.

Hazardous Waste

Should the Contractor, while performing work under this contract, uncover hazardous

materials, as defined in federal, state, and local regulations, he shall immediately notify the
Engineer.

Disposal of Excess Material and/or Hazardous Material

All excess clean excavated materials and any asbestos containing material shall be
disposed of at the Nashua Landfill. Contractor shall be responsible for payment of tipping
fee for asbestos containing material. The tipping fee for clean excess material shall be
waived. Contractor shall make arrangements with the Owner prior to hauling materials.
Disposal of other Hazardous Materials shall be in full accordance with all applicable
federal, state and local regulations.
