INSTALLATION
A. Install in types, sizes, and layouts as shown on the Drawings.
B. Install in strict accordance with ASTM C635.
C. Install suspension systems in strict accordance with the instructions of the
manufacturer, with hangers spaced not more than 48 inches on centers in any
direction, and as otherwise required to ensure deflection not exceeding 1/360 of the
span of the members.
D. Install a hanger at each corer of all light fixtures.
E. Install edge moldings at walls and ceiling penetrations.
F. Install panels from the center of each area, or as indicated on the drawings, and work
toward the perimeters. Edge panels shall not be less than six (6) inches wide with
the retention clips exposed to view. Ceiling plane shall be absolutely level.
INTERFACE WITH OTHER PRODUCTS
A.
Coordinate with other trades in installing other elements such as lights, detectors,
ducts, fume hood, and grilles in the acoustical ceiling.
