Re: Nashua Fire Rescue Console Furniture Replacement
Nashua Fire Recue is requesting to purchase four (4) Dispatch console furniture positions
for it’s Fire Alarm/Communications Division, located at 38 Lake Street. This furniture will
replace and update the current furniture configuration within the Communications
Division. The current consoles are 18 years old, oversized for todays technology and are
deteriorating. Attached please find the quote and a copy of the diagram from Wright-Line
of Worcester, MA.
Nashua Fire Rescue, Radio Systems Manager and the Radio Committee recommend the
purchase of this furniture from Wright-Line under GSA contract GS-03F-030DA. Funding in
the amount of $65,937.75 is budgeted for this purchase and is available in the Radio
Communications Upgrade Citywide Capital Projects, Furniture & Fixtures, account #
57.5050 71800 2008.57.01 71800.
