Please see the attached communication from George A. Walker, Deputy Fire Chief dated August 18,
2017 to Brian D. Rhodes, Assistant Chief of Department for information related to this purchase.
Pursuant to NRO § 5-84. Special purchase procedures. A. The competitive bidding process shall not
apply to the following special purchases: (7) Purchases under extensions of contracts when no price
increase exceeds 10%.
Nashua Fire Rescue, the Board of Fire Commission and the Purchasing Department recommend the
purchase of this equipment from Globe Manufacturing of Epsom, NH in the amount of $19.000.
