Project Description: Detailed engineering, procurement, and construction of two GE
Frame 5 peaking gas turbines that will utilize bio-diesel as a fuel source. The 40 MW
plant includes a complete de-mineralized water treatment facility for water injection
/NOx control.
Role: Staff Controls Engineer responsible for preliminary design of control system
including development of control architecture.
LyondellBasell — Lake Charles, LA
Project Description: Detailed engineering, procurement, and construction of two
nominal 8.0 MW natural gas fired reciprocating engines with exhaust and jacket
water heat recovery, a single 15 MW gas turbine generator with an unfired HRSG
and two package boilers.
Role: Staff Controls Engineer responsible for control system design including
creation of control architecture; instrument, valve, and controls bid specifications;
construction specifications; and loop drawings & logic for control of plant systems.
Pfizer — Groton, CT
Project Description: Detailed engineering of 10 MW cogeneration facility with a
combustion turbine generator, heat recovery steam generator, and emissions
monitoring.
Role: Staff Controls Engineer responsible for control system design including
creation of control architecture; instrument, valve, and controls bid specifications;
construction specifications; and loop drawings & logic for control of plant systems.
One Bryant Park — New York, NY
Project Description: Detailed engineering of a nominal 4.5 MW recuperated gas
turbine, a duct-fired heat recovery boiler and a 400-ton absorption chiller. The
cogeneration plant was designed integral to the new Bank of America Tower, a high-
rise office tower located at Bryant Park in Manhattan and will supply the building’s
heating energy needs, plus a portion of its electrical and cooling energy requirements.
