and diesel generator installations at Yale’s Central Power Plant.
Role: Staff Controls and Mechanical Engineer responsible for creation of
commissioning procedures for various subsystems as well as creation of boiler
performance test procedure.
DCO Energy LLC,
Project Description: Performance testing of hot water system (four 1200 HP boilers)
and chilled water system (six 2500 ton chillers) to determine if system meets design
standards.
Role: Staff Controls & Mechanical Engineer responsible for generation of
performance test procedures and performance test calculations.
University of Massachusetts Medical Center — Worcester, MA
Project Description: Detailed engineering of a 7.5 MW gas turbine plant with a high
pressure (1,100 psig, 900°F) heat recovery boiler, an electric chiller, and integration
with existing steam turbine generators and steam-driven chillers.
Role: Staff Controls Engineer responsible for responding to construction submittals
and RFIs, and creation of startup & commissioning procedures.
Vineland Municipal Electric Plant — Vineland, NJ
Project Description: Detailed engineering of a 64MW peaking power plant utilizing a
dual-fuel Rolls Royce Trent 60 turbine.
Role: Staff Controls Engineer responsible for construction submittal reviews and
RFIs as well as startup and commissioning support.
Harvard University Blackstone Station — Cambridge, MA
Project Description: Detailed engineering of the conversion of Units 11 & 12, two
multiple-burner boilers, from No. 6 fuel oil to dual-fired natural gas and No 6 fuel oil
units.
Staff Mechanical and Controls Engineer responsible for P&IDs, control architecture,
procurement specifications and construction specifications, site surveying, and
demolition plans.
