Role: Staff Mechanical Engineer responsible for preliminary design and layout of
CHP plants. Performed detailed 8760 hour modelling of plant operations and
economic impact for each option. Created process flow diagrams for each CHP plant
option.
Braintree Electric Lighting Department (BELD) — Braintree, MA
Project Description: Feasibility and economic study to determine the appropriate
power generation equipment to replace a 30 year old gas turbine generator at BELD’s
facility in Braintree, MA. Generators under consideration included (2) Rolls-Royce
Trent 60 Gas Turbines (128 MW total), (1) Rolls-Royce Trent 60 Gas Turbine w/
Steam Turbine (80 MWE total), and (2) GE LM6000 Gas Turbines (100 MW total).
Role: Lead Mechanical Engineer responsible for evaluation of available facilities,
preparation and analysis of unit performance data, and economic analysis of each
engine.
Clayville Unit 1 — Vineland, NJ
Project Description: Detailed engineering and design for installation of 64 MW Rolls-
Royce Trent 60 Gas Turbine for a peaking plant in Vineland, NJ.
Role: Lead Controls Engineer responsible for balance of plant control system,
network interfaces and communications between major equipment, instrumentation
and controls procurement specifications, logic for control of plant systems, and design
of fiber optic infrastructure.
Datagryd — New York, NY
Project Description: Detailed engineering and design for installation of three diesel
generators, two combustion turbines, and two exhaust-driven chillers at Datagryd’s
facility at 60 Hudson St in New York.
Role: Lead Controls Engineer responsible for complete control system solution for
the facility including creation of control architecture; instrument, valve, and controls
bid specifications; construction specifications; logic for control of plant systems; and
system process descriptions.
NRG Energy Huntley Station — Tonawanda, NY
Project Description: Preliminary engineering and design for replacement of 32
burners for Units 67 and 68, two coal-fired 1.5 million lb/hr steam boilers.
Role: Staff Mechanical Engineer responsible for creation of P&IDs and mechanical
bid specifications.
Berlin Biomass — Berlin, NH
Project Description: Owner’s Engineer for overseeing the design and engineering of
renovation of a boiler to a 75 MW biomass boiler.
