Desuperheating system modification project. The project objectives were to identify
an acceptable water treatment process to be added to the desuperheating system in
order to prevent further damage to the turbine and to determine any other potential
impacts on the desuperheating system, as well as updates to the P&ID’s to show
system changes and assist the client with specifying and procuring the equipment
required to make the modifications. Conducted a field survey to identify tie-in
locations to the existing equipment and systems, and general arrangement of new
equipment.

Role: Staff Engineer

Burgess Biopower — Berlin, NH
Functioned as short term Mechanical Coordinator for the construction management

effort of a 75 MW biomass power plant. Conducted field checks of completed
construction activities, and reviewed ongoing construction activities, including pipe
routing and equipment installation. Processed documentation of completed
construction, and conducted field verification as necessary.

Vineland Municipal Electric Utility — Vineland, NJ

Staff Engineer responsible for preliminary and detailed design of municipal peaking
plant. Responsibilities included specifications, submittal review and process and
instrumentation diagrams.

Genor, Organic Rankine Cycle — Guatemala City, Guatemala

Staff Engineer assisting with pipe stress and nozzle loading calculations and
development of subsequent piping drawings. Constructed and executed computer
models to calculate pipe stress and nozzle loads, worked with other members of
design team to reroute piping as needed and reduce nozzle loads.

Genor, Coal Plant Study — Guatemala City, Guatemala

Staff Engineer responsible for constructing and executing electronic heat balance
models of two existing coal plants of approximately one hundred megawatt capacity.
Modeled and sized new condenser and cooling water systems for various different
ambient conditions.
