Waldron’s design scope is based on 2 CAT G3406 200kW Model recip engine
generators and the allotted space is sufficient for the 2 CAT G3406 200kW Model
recip engine generator installation and operation. Design will be based on best
available information, not vendor design submittal, for the engine generator and
switchgear.
Evaluation of gas piping, the gas holding tank, and the gas flare are not included, and
would be evaluated in the future.
Wright-Pierce will assist Waldron with evaluation of gas cleaning equipment
upgrades if they prove to be necessary, and with the preliminary and final design
services for the recommended improvements to the gas cleaning or other gas
handling facilities as part of the overall generator upgrade project. However, it is
not possible to quantify the effort required until the evaluation above is completed
No architectural design or building structural design is included. The new CHP
generator will replace the existing CHP generators and will be in the current Energy
Recovery room.
Waldron does not include Value Engineering (VE) in the Scope after issuance of the
90% construction documents.
No changes to Existing fire protection and gas detection systems
City of Nashua will provide the recent 2 years of monthly electric and natural gas
bills and other relevant financial information.
HazOp review is not included
Deflagration Analysis is not included.
Construction Administration including answering RFI, contractor and equipment
submittal review, certify contractor payments or Change Orders, construction
meetings and construction review additional to the site investigation defined in
Paragraph 5 above are not included.
After 100% CD, design changes resulted from equipment vendor design information
is considered as Change of Scope.
Commission and commissioning / startup support is not included.
Equipment Factory Acceptance Test or visits to manufacturing or other facilities is
optional and will be billed per T&M rates.
Environmental and other permit application are not included.
