Scope of Work and Fee Proposal

Dear Mr. Mendola:
CLD Consulting Engineers, Inc. (CLD) is pleased to submit the enclosed Scope of Work and Fee
Proposal to complete a subsurface investigation, including borings, for the City of Nashua at the
Canal Street Bridge over the Nashua River.
CLD has retained Haley and Aldrich to complete the geotechnical investigation, please see their
attached Scope of Work and Fee Proposal for a detailed description of their services. Also
included with this letter is CLD’s Task List with Estimated Hours and Fee.
CLD’s scope of work shall include:
e Review and Evaluation of the Geotechnical Report: CLD will review the results of the
geotechnical investigations and make a determination as to the subsequent project
approach.
e Coordination with the City and Sub-consultants: CLD will coordinate with our
subconsultants through the completion of the work. CLD will present the investigation
results and recommendations to the City via e-mail and phone calls. No additional
meetings have been included.
