ITEM ‘C’ —- LOAM AND SEED (4" DEPTH)
A. SCOPE
This work shall consist of installation of loam and seed at the location(s) shown on the layout
plan or as ordered by the Engineer.
B. MATERIALS AND CONSTRUCTION
The Contractor shall supply all labor, materials, equipment and transportation necessary for the
required work. The loam shall be a minimum of 4” in depth.
C. MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT
Loam and Seed will be measured by the number of square yards installed. Payment for work
under these items shall be at the contract unit price per unit and shall include full
compensation for excavation, grading, material, seed, labor, tools, equipment, disposal of
construction debris (existing sidewalk, concrete, asphalt, etc.), and any other incidentals
necessary for the satisfactory completion of this work as specified.
