| would like to state to the chair that my assessment of it is actually a testament of my faith in Alderman
Siegel. | know he would not have spoken up unless he had thoroughly done the research.
Alderman Schoneman
| don’t see myself swaying anybody’s view but | just want to be clear that this co-ops the City of Nashua
into endorsing something that we just should not be doing. The example was given during the committee
and again here tonight that there are lots of organizations that we could be co-opted into supporting
because they support free speech, we like free speech. We should not do that. As a matter of principle |
believe that’s been inappropriate and as much as | like the goldenrod copy with the Welcoming America
Initiative in there | simply cannot vote for it in principle.
