Ms. Gomez —

At this point, the decision is in the hands of the Board of Aldermen. The Administration put
forward a plan to accommodate two unobstructed parking spaces to accommodate tables and
chairs. But as you may know, Alderman Jette offered a recommendation to alter the plan, which
a majority of the Task Force present agreed with cutting back the placement of the barrier’s,
which in turn would put a barrier in one of the two parking spaces originally left available for
tables and seating. The new placement of the barrier will not take up the entirety of the parking
space, but it will have a limiting effect (leaving you with 1+ parking spaces).

Alderman Jette did not offer a reason as to why he made the motion (or if he did I missed it), but
it might be worth exploring with him. I provided ample data showing that there is more than
enough parking in the vicinity, but in fairness, some of the neighboring businesses believe that
the only “real” parking spaces available to them are those directly on Main Street right in-front
of their storefronts.

Additionally, I learned yesterday that it was represented by some members of the task force that
SFK was in support of the Jette recommendation, clearly by your below email that is not the case
and I believe may have been misinformation.

All I can suggest is that you make your point(s) clear to the Board of Aldermen and your
Landlord (the property owner).

Thank you.

Good Afternoon, Mr. Cummings

I hope you are having a great weekend. Mr. Cummings, I'm reaching out to you, begging if
needed, to please don’t take away parking spaces from SFK. The past two years we have had two
parking spaces free of barriers and handicap ramp, and it was sufficient to accommodate the
tables I had bought and yet keep the 6ft distance, not required, but better if done. If I'm given two
spaces but yet have to house the barrier and ramp on one of them, it will bring me down to one
space and I wouldn't be able to place the tables and it would be literally reducing my space.
