2004 — 2017: Founder, Breast Cancer Education Initiative for Low-Income &
Minority Women at Nashua GED Center
e Established non-profit to educate low-income & minority women on importance of early
detection & healthy lifestyle
® Collaborated with Adult Learning Center 501(c)3 to shelter & manage funds
® Created eight major fundraisers totaling $25K to buy educational materials in multiple
languages from Kemen for the Cure, grocery store gift cards for incentive, mammograms for
those not qualified for BCCC guidelines, etc.
® Teaches awareness class each semester with over 500 women impacted
