PURPOSE: Relative to the acceptance of $18,795 from the State of New
Hampshire, Department of Justice, into Police Grant Activity
“2022 Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding (CESF)
Program”

FISCAL NOTE: Fiscal impact is a $18,795 grant to be used tor a specific
purpose.
ANALYSIS
This resolution authorizes the City to accept $18,795 from the State of New Hampshire,
Department of Justice for the purpose of preventing, preparing for, and responding to the
Coronavirus. This funding is contingent upon approval by the Governor and Executive Council
and shall be in effect through January 20, 2022. Due to this short time frame, the Police
Department is requesting final passage of this legislation at the November 9, 2021 Board of
Aldermen meeting. No local match is required.
