RESOLUTION
RELATIVE TO THE ACCEPTANCE AND APPROPRIATION OF $1,439,929 FROM
THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT
INTO PUBLIC HEALTH AND COMMUNITY SERVICES GRANT ACTIVITY
“HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONS WITH AIDS (“HOPWA”)”
CITY OF NASHUA
In the Year Two Thousand and Twenty-One
RESOLVED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Nashua that the City of Nashua and
the Division of Public Health and Community Services are authorized to accept and appropriate
$1,439,929 from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”)
into Public Health and Community Services Grant Activity “Housing Opportunities for Persons
with AIDS (“HOPWA”)” for the purpose of providing affordable housing and support services
for families with at least one household member that has HIV/AIDS. This funding shall be in
effect from May 1, 2021 through April 30, 2024.
