Please see attached communications from James Kirk, Deputy Fire Chief, dated January 28, 2022 for project
specific details related to this purchase. Below please find a summary of the purchase approval request:
Item: 10 sets of Personal Protective Equipment at $3,258.02 each. Set to include: Globe
Firefighting Jacket, Pants & Boots, Lakeland Reflective Parka, Cairns Firefighting
Helmet and a Public Safety Reflective Vest
Value: $32,580.17
Vendor: Bergeron Protective Equipment
Department: 152 Fire Rescue
Source Fund: 61110 Protective Clothing
Ordinance: Pursuant to § 5-84 Special purchase procedures A/(3) Purchases which can be
procured through cooperative intergovernmental purchase agreements with
other governmental jurisdictions
