e The staircase will be replaced with 6 x 6” pressure treated lumber
using the box step, or “crib step” design.

e The stairs will function as both a staircase and as an erosion control
structure to retain soil.

e The stairs will be secured in place using lengths of steel rebar
anchored into the hillside.

e There will be 3 individual sets of stairs with landings connecting them
to complete the full run, similar to the current layout.

e There are 2 sections along the staircase where,6:x 6” PT lumber will
be used to replace existing retaining walls to'stabilize the hillside.
