RESPONSE TO REMARKS OF THE MAYOR

Alderman Lopez

| wanted to echo the Mayor’s comments regarding the City Clerk and the amazing job they all did as well as
the people working at the polls. | would like to add special thanks for the effort to provide free bus
transportation using the Nashua City Bus. That was very well received from people in my Ward.

Alderman O’Brien

The Moderator in Ward 9, Don Dillaby, he may be retiring and he will be sorely missed, he did his job well.

Alderman Siegel

| would like to echo the sentiments of my colleague, Alderman O’Brien, Don is amazing. He is super
professional and although he has said it’s his last election on several occasion but if it is his last election then
he went out as a star. | would also like to echo the praise for our Clerk, Tricia Piecuch, who | had the
privilege of spending a little time talking to about the procedures that are involved and if people knew exactly
how complicated some of this stuff is and the logistics, it’s mind altering and it’s very interesting — great job!

Alderwoman Melizzi-Golja

| would also like to express congratulation to Tricia. | had several people from Wards other than my own and
all of them commented on how efficiently the lines moved in the morning. All of your efforts were
appreciated. | also want to congratulate the re-elected members of our Board who will be going up to
Concord again.

Alderman Caron

| would also like to echo the nice job that the City Clerk did and also for the Ward workers because it is a
thankless job. In Ward 7 we had a lot of new people there and they worked very hard and | did get a lot of
comments about the new pop-up voting booths, people really liked them. Good job!

Alderman Dowd

| was there for most of the day at Ward 2 and | was amazed at how long the lines were at some point and
how quickly they processed them through to vote. We had a lot of people come that were handicapped and
the Moderator allowed them to go to the head of the line.
