Allowing permitted overnight on-street parking on Eighth

Revenue: permit fees of $10 each. Possible loss of revenue
from overnight parking tickets. Estimated cost of materials,
labor, and vehicle overhead for signage only: $156.
ANALYSIS
This legislation adds Eighth Street to the overnight on-street parking program. Pursuant to
subsection A(1) of the ordinance, residents of the streets where overnight parking is permitted
are allowed to purchase an annual permit, with a maximum number of 550 permits to be issued.
The Police and.Fire Departments did not have any objections to this request.
