RELATIVE TO THE ACCEPTANCE AND APPROPRIATION OF $159,460 FROM THE
UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT
CARES ACT FUNDING INTO PUBLIC HEALTH AND COMMUNITY SERVICES
GRANT ACTIVITY “HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONS WITH AIDS
(““HOPWA”)”
CITY OF NASHUA
In the Year Two Thousand and Twenty
RESOLVED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Nashua that the City of Nashua and
the Division of Public Health and Community Services are authorized to accept and appropriate
$159,460 from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development CARES ACT
funding into Public Health and Community Services Grant Activity “Housing Opportunities for
Persons with AIDS (““HOPWA”)” for the purpose of providing funding to the Southern New
Hampshire HIV/AIDS Task Force for operations in order to prevent, prepare for, and respond to
the coronavirus. This funding shall be in effect from May 1, 2020 through April 30, 2023.
