ORDINANCE
EXTENDING THE OVERNIGHT ON-STREET PARKING PROGRAM
INDEFINITELY AND ALLOWING RESIDENTS OF ATWOOD COURT, ORANGE
STREET AND WHITNEY STREET TO PURCHASE OVERNIGHT ON-STREET
PARKING PERMITS
CITY OF NASHUA
In the Year Two Thousand and Sixteen
The City of Nashua ordains that Part II “General Legislation”, Chapter 320 “Vehicles
and Traffic”, Article XIII “Night Parking”, Section 320-78.1 “Overnight on-street parking pilot
program in designated downtown area” of the Nashua Revised Ordinances, as amended, be and
hereby is further amended by deleting the struck-through language and adding the new
underlined language as follows:
“320-78.1. Overnight on-street parking pilet-program in designated downtown
area.
There shall be a pilet-program for on-street overnight parking as described below.

judgement regarding the success-of the _pilot program-shall inchide, but not-be

ithe number-cfresidents vho-obtain permits:
2a favorable recommendation from the Police Department:
3—a faverable recommendation fromthe Fire Department: and
4a favorable recommendation fem the Public Works Division.
BA. On-street overnight parking shall be allowed between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and
6:00 a.m. on designated streets only to vehicles with a permit. On-street
overnight parking for any time period between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 6:00
a.m. on designated streets without a permit is a violation of § 320-78 and is not
allowed.
