RELATIVE TO THE ACCEPTANCE AND APPROPRIATION OF $356,046 FROM THE U.S.
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, FEDERAL TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION, AND
$26,828 FROM THE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION INTO TRANSIT GRANT ACTIVITY “LOW OR NO EMISSION
GRANT PROGRAM”
CITY OF NASHUA
In the Year Two Thousand and Twenty
RESOLVED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Nashua that the City of Nashua is
authorized to accept and appropriate $356,046 of Federal grant funds from the U.S. Department of
Transportation, Federal Transit Administration, and $26,828 from the State of New Hampshire
Department of Transportation into Transit Grant Activity “Transit Low or No Emission Grant
Program” for the purpose of purchasing 2 electric vans, 1 electric vehicle and related electrical
upgrades and charging stations. Matching funds in the amount of $34,828 are required for this grant
of which $26,828 is currently allocated for van replacements in the City’s CERF plan, and the
remainder of $8,000 will be funded through matching funds from the City’s General Fund.
