Tonight we took up the collective bargaining agreement between the Nashua Board of Education and the
Nashua Teachers Union. | was prepared to come in and share some information with you which was an
analysis between our collective bargaining agreements and our Spending Cap. | decided not to present that
information here this evening because | didn’t think it was appropriate to try to look at that as we were looking
at the collective bargaining agreement with the teachers union. However, it’s a historical analysis between
2012 to current day of all our collective bargaining agreements as compared to our Spending Caps for those
particular fiscal years. | think it’s an interesting analysis that we might possibly be able to look at either at a
strategic planning meeting or a future budget review committee meeting. Especially as we face more difficult
years going forward, | think this at least begins the conversation. | would ask that we maybe T this up ata
future strategic planning. | think it’s scheduled at the beginning of January.

CFO Griffin is coming so | can add that to the topics that we would like him to address.

| would also like to thank CFO Griffin and Derek Danielson for their assistance in providing and fact checking
some of my figures that | derived from CAFR in years past and the CBAs that we have seen. With that | would
also like to wish the Board and the citizens of Nashua a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and enjoy.

| also want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and Happy New Year. My condolences as
well to the family of Artie Paine. He was a friend of mine. Lost him way too soon. A really good guy. He was
a firefighter for so many years. He was also an awesome painter. Happy holidays to everyone.
